The history and traditions of this private Fishing & Game Club is honoured today by club members and guests, who favour the character of the rustic log “cabin” lodge over trends and modern upgrades. I was asked to create a fresh update to the main lodge living areas without the lodge itself really noticing. Using natural materials, blending with the colours of the surroundings, and specifying styles and materials that stand the test of time ensured that I was honouring the lodge’s almost 100 year-old history.
